Hello, my name is Nima. I am a private tutor with over ten years of experience serving students in the greater Sugar Land area. I work with learners of various ages and across multiple subjects, helping them improve academic performance while building confidence.

I specialize in some of the following subjects:

ABOUT ME

I am an experienced private tutor serving students in the greater Sugar Land area. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Sports Nutrition, and I am a board-certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). My academic background allows me to approach tutoring with a strong foundation in discipline, critical thinking, and personalized learning strategies.

 

I began tutoring during my freshman year of college as a side endeavor, but over the years it has grown into a well-established and rewarding professional practice. What started as a way to support myself academically has evolved into a long-term commitment to helping students achieve success and confidence in their educational journeys.

Outside of tutoring, I am also a trained Kathak (Indian classical) and Garba (Indian folk) dancer. I am the founder of Nritta Accessories, a small business through which I design and sell handmade classical dance accessories to customers across the United States and Canada. In recognition of my work in both education and entrepreneurship, I was honored with the DISHA USA Young Achievers’ Award in Entrepreneurship in October 2025.

My goal extends beyond academic tutoring—I strive to serve as a lifelong mentor to my students, offering guidance, encouragement, and perspective whenever possible. I make myself accessible via email and text, and I always do my best to support students who reach out with questions or seek advice, both academically and beyond.

Online Tutoring

Online Tutoring is available for all High School and College subjects. Please get in touch with Nima before booking!

When booking an online session, please make sure that you upload all necessary study materials on the booking form. 

First Time Client?

Use the following steps to book your first session at a discounted rate. 

STEP 1

Visit www.nimamistrytutor.com and click on the menu button on the top right. From there, click on "plans and pricing" on the list on your left.

Click on "Buy Now" under the Single Session plan.

Log in or sign up through your gmail account. For middle/high school students, it is recommended to connect through their email accounts.

Add in the student's information and the promo code MistrySLTX to apply a discount. PLEASE NOTE: This code can only be used once per student.

Add in your preferred payment method and place your order. If you are asked for a plan start date, make sure it is set to the date of purchase so that you can start booking your session as soon as you purchase.

Now that your order has been placed, go back to the home page.

Click on the menu tab and this time, click on "Book Online".

You should now see a list of services for both in-person and online tutoring. Pick the subject you are booking and click "Book Now".

From here, you will access the booking calendar.

Choose the best date and time that works for you. Click "more details" to see the location for that day. Once you have selected your slot, click on "Next".

Add in the student's information and click "Book Now.

You will be taken to a payment screen which will charge you $0.00. In order to finalize your booking, click on "Place Order"

CONFIRMATION

Upon seeing this confirmation screen, you will know that your session is officially booked.
